State Representative Gerald Mullery, Esq.("Jerry") was elected to represent the citizens of the 119th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in November 2010. A practicing lawyer for more than 14 years, Jerry focused on workers’ compensation , personal injury and Social Security Disability cases.
Jerry’s mission as a lawmaker is to stand up for the people of the 119th District and fight for what is most important to them, including family sustaining jobs, safe neighborhoods, good schools, low taxes, clean water and their Second Amendment rights.
During his freshman term, Jerry is serving on the House Health, Game & Fisheries, and Children & Youth committees. Jerry is the Democratic Secretary of the House Game & Fisheries Committee.
A graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School, Jerry received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from King’s College in 1992 and graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 1998.
Jerry married the former Michele Mech of Nanticoke and together they have four children: Leah (12), Lauren (10), Liam (6), and Louden (4).
Following in his father’s footsteps, Jerry is very active in youth sports in Luzerne County’s South Valley region. He is the immediate Past President of the Greater Nanticoke Area Youth Soccer League and coaches youth baseball, basketball and soccer for South Valley Softball, Greater Nanticoke Area Youth Soccer, Good Shepherd Academy Basketball and Newport Biddy Basketball.
Active in his community, Jerry is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 913 in Nanticoke, Ancient Order of Hibernians in Wilkes-Barre, and several bar associations. Jerry has recently been appointed as a member of the Huber Breaker Preservation Society.
